Parrot Sequoia+ Multispectral Sensor
THE ULTIMATE Parrot SEQUOIA+ Multispectral Sensor IMAGERY
The Parrot Sequoia+ multispectral sensor is revolutionizing the sector, offering a comprehensive, adaptable solution that is compatible with all types of drones. With its two sensors, multispectral and sunshine, Parrot Sequoia+ analyses plants' vitality by capturing the amount of light they absorb and reflect. Collecting this data means that farmers can do what's best for their fields.
Including its unique features, it is the perfect combination of technology, mobility and affordability that allows you to keep track of your crop’s health.
How Sequoia Works
Parrot SEQUOIA+ Multispectral Sensor
Gathering crop data for NDVI mapping is no longer the sole province of mega farms with unimaginable budgets.
Because all images taken by Sequoia are geotagged, you’ll know the exact location of the field or portion of a field in each image and in each piece of data.

One small advice on that sensor: try to put it as high as possible on your drone. You don’t want to have any shade coming into that sensor as otherwise your calculations on incoming light and thus reflectance, NDVI, .. will be off (by a bit ;)) Cheers!

Great camera for the price point. Very functional for surveying my land parcels.

The Sequoia is a great little multi-spec cam that is affordable. When I set up my quad with the cam, the flight went smoothly, and the data was easy to validate in the field. I pulled the SD card from the irradiance sensor, put it in my laptop and made sure there were enough geo-tagged images. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the RGB iRead more about review stating Good Camera for the Price Pointmages. Multi-rotors are an inherently bad place to be if you are trying to be precise. I was a little worried about rolling shutter or noise, but those worries were unfounded. Overall a great little camera that provides the info I need.

This is a great little camera! I have been waiting for Sensefly or Pix4D to publish a full raw dataset so am very glad i came across this. I have been a long time user of the RedEdge (beta tested the RE2 and was Micasense’s first Australian customer). Very excited to hear about the Sequoia and to see some real-world datasets; It looks like a greatRead more about review stating A New Evolution evolution. Cheers

I have just received my Seqouia. Mounted it on an Inspire 1 Pro and it flew quite well. The RGB images were a little blurry, which I suspect is because the camera was not gyrostabilized. Keen to purchase the Micasense Rededge to see if it is a better camera.

So far in using this camera these are some things I have found. I have been looking at the images the camera provided and seems that the images of the individual bands are clear shots without too much blur which is a good sign. When stacking the images together however, they are not aligned, a problem which other sensors like Tetracam also have. WRead more about review stating So far so good…ill keep using and working to use all of the features. Price point is fabulous.

I’m interested in this technology for use on our farms in norway. Can’t wait to try the software using the data the Sequoia captures.
